Rekwest has made two major improvements to tipping: fees have been cut nearly in half, and the payment flow is now completely automatic. Your guests can tip with their requests without any extra steps, and you keep significantly more of what you earn.

Lower Fees Mean More Money In Your Pocket

Tipping fees have been reduced from 18% + €0.30 to just 10% + €0.30 per transaction. This means significantly more money goes directly to you for every tip you receive.

The fee still covers payment processing through Stripe and platform costs, but now at a much fairer rate that puts more earnings back in your hands.

Instant Payment Flow With No Friction

Previously, guests would indicate a tip amount when requesting a song, but they had to come back later to actually pay after you accepted their request. This created friction and often resulted in lost tips.

Now, guests authorize their payment immediately when submitting their request. A hold is placed on their card for the tip amount they choose, and when you accept the request, payment is captured automatically. If you decline the request or do not respond, the hold is released and no charge is made.

This removes the awkward waiting period and ensures tips are collected smoothly without any back and forth.
