Below is everything you need to know about integrating Rekwest with your existing setup.

Streamline Your Workflow

Instead of manually copying song requests from Rekwest to your playlists, let the integration handle it automatically. When you accept a request, it gets added directly to your chosen playlist.

How Playlist Integration Works

1. Connect your account - Link your Spotify or SoundCloud account to Rekwest
2. Choose a playlist - Select an existing playlist or create a new one. Directly adding to your queue is also possible for Spotify.
3. Accept requests - When you approve a song request, it automatically gets added
4. Play from your software - Access the updated playlist in your DJ software or streaming app

Spotify & SoundCloud Integration Setup

Connecting Your Account

To set up the Spotify or SoundCloud integration:

1. Go to your Event Settings in Rekwest
2. Scroll to the “Add song requests to Spotify/SoundCloud” section
3. You’ll be asked to authorize Rekwest to access your Spotify or SoundCloud account
4. Choose or create a playlist to add requests to

Spotify Queue Integration

For Spotify only, we offer a special feature to add accepted requests directly to your playback queue:

• Complete the setup as described above
• Enable the “Queue” option

Setting Up DJ Software Integration

1. Connect Rekwest to SoundCloud Automatically have your song requests added to a SoundCloud playlist

Troubleshooting Integration Issues

“Songs don’t show up in my playlist/queue”

• Make sure that you accept your song requests. Only accepted requests will be added to your playlist/queue.
• Check that the Spotify or SoundCloud account is the same one connected to Rekwest.
• Moving a song request back to “Pending” and accepting it again will not add it again to your playlist/queue. Create a new request to properly test the integration again.
