Manage Attendees
Rekwest gives you fine-grained control over who attends your events and what they’re allowed to do. From restricting access to highlighting VIP guests, you decide who participates and how.
Below is everything you need to know about managing your event attendees.
Setting Initial Access Restrictions
Before anyone joins, you can control who’s allowed to participate using your event settings. For detailed information about these options, check out the Create Events guide.
Quick recap of access control options:
- Link/QR code only: Hide your event from public listings
- Rekwest account required: Guests must create an account
- Manual approval: Review each guest before they can participate
- Physical proximity: Limit access to guests within a certain distance
The Attendees Tab
To see everyone who has joined your event:
- Navigate to your event
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner
- Open the Attendees tab
Here you’ll find a complete list of everyone who has ever attended your event, along with management options for each person.
Managing Individual Attendees
For each attendee, you have several options:
Kick Out
Remove an attendee from your event and clear them from the attendees list.
Important: This is a one-time removal. The person can join again anytime unless you ban them.
Ban
Permanently prevent someone from joining your event again.
Banned users:
- Cannot rejoin using the event link or QR code
- Are completely blocked from participating
- Remain banned until you manually unban them
Make VIP
Elevate an attendee to VIP status. Please refer to the VIP Guests guide for more details on this feature.
Enable Kiosk Mode
Enable Kiosk Mode for a specific attendee. Please refer to the Kiosk Mode guide for more details on this feature.
