Theming & Whitelabeling

Theming & Whitelabeling

Customize all colors, logos, some parts of the UI layout, and more. Fully white-label your events and make them truly yours. Rekwest will look like your own application to your guests.

Whether you want everything to match your brand identity, reflect a wedding couple’s colors, or simply look polished and professional: theming gives you full control over the look and feel of your Rekwest events.

Themes

What Is a Theme?

A theme is a collection of visual settings (colors, logos, and UI preferences) that you can apply to your events. Once created, a theme can be reused across multiple events, making it easy to stay consistent across all your shows.

Creating Themes

You can create an unlimited number of themes. This makes it possible to:

  • Maintain a signature look across all your regular events
  • Create event-specific themes, e.g. matching the color palette of a wedding couple
  • Build different themes for different types of gigs, such as club nights vs. acoustic sessions

Default Theme

You can mark any theme as your default theme. This theme will be:

  • Pre-selected automatically when you create a new event
  • Displayed on the loading screen when guests scan your universal QR code

Color Customization

Themes give you full control over the colors throughout the Rekwest guest experience:

  • All app colors: Customize the primary colors, accents, backgrounds, and text colors across the entire guest-facing interface
  • Loading screen background color: Set the background color of the loading screen guests see after scanning your QR code
  • Loading screen logo: Upload your own logo to display on the loading screen
  • Loading screen text: Customize the text shown below the loading bar on the loading screen

UI Layout Customizations

In addition to colors, themes let you adjust certain layout elements to better suit your use case:

Hide the “Download App” Button

By default, guests see a button at the top of the screen prompting them to download the Rekwest app. You can hide this button to keep the interface clean and focused on your event.

Collapse the Image Section on Small Devices

On small screens, the cover image at the top of the requests list page can take up valuable space. You can choose to collapse this image section by default, giving guests more room to browse and submit song requests.

Show Your Custom Logo

You can choose to display your custom logo in the bottom left corner of the requests list screen, giving the interface a fully branded feel.

Additional Whitelabeling Features

Beyond themes, Rekwest offers additional whitelabeling options that control how guests navigate and experience your events. These settings are configured per event.

Lock Guests to the Event

Prevent guests from leaving the event and exploring other areas of Rekwest by enabling this option. It hides back buttons and blocks other navigation paths that would take guests away from your event. Note: This is enabled by default for all devices in Kiosk Mode.

Instead of sending guests to the song requests list after joining your event, you can send them directly to the request creation page. This removes friction and gets guests submitting songs immediately after they join.

Perfect For

  • Branded performers and DJs who want a consistent, professional look across all their events
  • Wedding DJs who want to match the theme to each couple’s personal style
  • Venues and clubs with specific brand guidelines
  • Anyone who wants their event to look like a polished, custom-built application rather than a third-party tool
